Western Mass. coworking spaces in Amherst, Greenfield sparked by innovation, creativity: Outlook 2019

Over the last two years, coworking has caught fire across the United States. Partly in response to more Americans working remotely, the idea of flexible, shared office space has become a blessing to both solopreneurs looking for a place to work away from home and commercial real estate owners looking for alternative ways to use vacant space.

Western Massachusetts is no stranger to the global phenomenon. Coworking spaces are continuing to pop up along the Interstate 91 corridor.

While larger cities with greater foot traffic, like New York City and Austin, Texas, have thriving coworking spaces, those in smaller cities are finding innovative ways to attract and retain tenants.
